AKG Acoustics K-240 Studio Headphones Review

By far the best sounding studio headphones on the market in this price range today.  AKG has consistently made great quality audio products for years and this is no exception.  All the sounds from the lowest bass to the highest treble will sound true and accurate in the K-240’s.  These studio quality headphones are sure to please even the most picky audio lover.  I believe this set of headphones is by far the best sounding in their price range.

Every AKG Acoustics K-24 Studio Headphones review should be sure to say that these amazing headphones are designed mainly for studio use and are not closed like what most people are used to.  That means they don’t cancel the ambient noise so if you’re trying to wear these in a crowded area you are going to hear the people chattering around you.  These headphones are, however, ideal for people who love listening to great sounding audio at home or anywhere that you won’t be disturbed by excessive noise around you.

Second only to the quality of the sound is how great these headphones look.  The fun retro look is great and I like the black and gold color scheme.  The audio cord is removable and replaceable so if you break the cord it is just a quick replacement to fix the problem. Personally I also really like the way these headphones feel while wearing them.  They seem to be designed for comfortable wear during a long day at the music studio.  AKG has also designed these headphones to have some replaceable or interchangeable parts which makes them extra nice.  A friend of mine did not like the feel of them so he picked up some replacement ear pads which he liked the feel of better and now he loves them!
