These are the most expensive headphones I’ve bought to date. Typically I’ve always just gotten cheap ones because I never listened to that much music but now that I’m at my desk all day for school and work I felt it was worth the investment. I am going to write the Bose AE2 Headphones review because that’s what I ended up with after doing a lot of research on headphones in this price range. Bose is well known for having quality audio products by most everyone and I’m happy to say these headphones are no exception.
The sound on these headphones is really great. I listen to mostly classic rock and it sounds really great to me. I am no audiophile but the music sounds like it should. There is no ‘added’ bass which some speakers or headphones seem to do for some reason. The sound stays crisp and clear at any volume and I haven’t run into any crackling or other issues yet. I like that BOSE was able to provide such high quality sound at a reasonable price. I looked at many much higher priced headphones in the store and none of them really sounded any better than these.
Comfort and Quality:
I often find myself sitting at my desk for 8+ hours per day and the majority of that time I have these Bose AE2 headphones on listening to music. I rarely even notice that the headphones are there which is a huge plus. The cheaper sets I’ve had in the past would always get uncomfortable even after just a half hour or so. These seem to have high quality construction and feel like they will last a long time. I haven’t dropped them or anything and really don’t plan to but I am happy with how durable they seem so far.
